DUAL CREDIT
Students enrolled in Dual Credit can receive both high school and college credit for the course. Most colleges and universities will accept Dual Credit if the student earns a grade of C or better. Dual Credit courses are taught at the college level, so it prepares students for college work and facilitates the transition between high school and college. Through Dual Credit courses, students are receiving college credit during high school at a much-reduced tuition rate compared to a college course. Therefore, the cost of a college education and the time needed to complete a degree program is reduced. It is the responsibility of the student to contact schools of interest in order to determine if Dual Credits will be accepted.
