Our 10th and 11th graders kicked off the school year with an incredible retreat to the DFW area! 🚌 They stayed at Mount Lebanon Baptist Encampment, where they enjoyed time together, including a campfire under the stars. The Sophomores dedicated their days to service at Mission Arlington, sorting over 10,000 school supplies for local children. Meanwhile, the Juniors spent a day at the camp discussing identity and leadership, followed by a day serving at the Central Storehouse. There, they shopped for supplies with those in need, engaged in meaningful conversations with community members, and delivered groceries to cars. The retreat wrapped up with a night out at a Texas Rangers game, making unforgettable memories. This year, the Wildcats are committed to the core value of Community, focusing on strengthening one another’s faith and sharing the Gospel by loving, serving, and honoring others. Our Freshman class kicked off this mission by spending time with Noah Torr, the Student Ministry Coordinator at Springs Community Church. On Wednesday, Noah challenged the students to “own their faith” and ask themselves, “Do I genuinely desire to follow Jesus?” The group continued with a deeper dive on Thursday, exploring how they can strengthen themselves and support each other. Putting their faith into action, the Wildcats dedicated two mornings to serving the greater community. At New Braunfels Christian Ministries’ Kids Club, they helped clean up meeting rooms and a playground in preparation for the new school year. They also pitched in at the NBCA Elementary Campus, moving gravel, rocks, wood, and brush to clean a large playground and washing windows and a bus. The week wrapped up with the Freshmen enjoying a fun Friday together at Santikos Entertainment in Cibolo, building bonds and creating memories. ✨ Our seniors are heading back home today from Costa Rica, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude for how God worked in ways we never could have imagined! 🌍🙏 These amazing seniors came together to serve children with the joy and love of Christ. Some of our boys shared the gospel with nearly 100 kids, and together we made gospel bracelets, spreading His message of hope and salvation. 🎉✝️ We brought the parables of Jesus to life, sharing His unfailing love through skits, songs, and dances. It was a week full of painting, playing, planting, and worshiping, and it has truly been life-changing for everyone involved. 🎨🎶 Thank you, God, for all You have done!
